29 out of 30 misses. The 30th ricochets and hits you.

I've done a mod or two
It's one thing to feel the straight power, which this car certainly has. But this thing just rips gear to gear and has to constantly limit itself to keep from breaking loose. I'd love to feel it entirely uncorked, but 550 horse puppies on demand needs fatter tires than a 295. It's more fun to just nail the gas and rip a 25-125 roll and hear it scream and blowoff than it is to just drive around. As a car, it's not very good, as a track ready toy, it's unbelievable. I would never buy one, but I'll borrow one any day haha. The functions behind the car are more interesting than the car itself, the electronic wastegates, the traction control, the insane torque vectoring (it car steer you with the power output from the diff). Clever germans invent some of the best stuff, but I'll wait for the Japanese to refine it and make it reliable.

Yeah this is a very different beast, the original Viper was just a great engine in a bucket of average Chrysler parts recycled from other things, it is entirely up to the owner to make it what they want. The M3 is a powerful car but first and foremost it is supposed to be a threat on a circuit track. It has lots of things to make it a credible threat in the hands of just about any driver and you can turn them all off if you want but you'd only be doing yourself a disservice. I don't even think professional drivers would elect to drive one around a track they're extremely familiar with without the lowest traction mode on at least.

Hope the Viper was a quiet one haha, the V10 sounds damn awful. Only powerful car I've ever seen a company produce super quiet aftermarket pipes for, because people comment on how bad they sound. Still a neat engine even if it is entirely outdated. Don't let the Magnum V10 fool you either, you don't want that in a wheeling rig and the Ford offering is no more amazing either. The Viper V10 is it's own thing, drive my uncles Viper RAM last time I was in FL, now that would be a fun rig if it wasn't a Dodge and had 4WD haha.

Dude that's a great idea, you gotta keep us up to date on this project along the way. It's one of those things that in my mind I never could justify the price of one but having shade easily set up and put away like that is priceless. I've always done the tarp and aluminum camp poles but I like this Sunbrella fabric idea. You can have it the actual size you want/need for your own setup/your own truck. And then could put those rivet/ring things where you need them. And I like those bungeeball cord things too for securing to the roof rack or whatever. Man I'm digging this idea. Cool shiz:cool:and can be a back up shade for any other thing you need. Sounds like a winner to me:D
