I don't like my Duratracs, they suck in the rain, almost dangerous. I had little issues with E-rated BFG KO's. Both are great in the snow.

I run my Duratracs at 33 in the front and 30 in the rear, for a perfect contact patch for my weight truck.

I’ve had two sets of toyo MT’s on the 6 ply version. I run 285/70/17 on a simple level and required a tad trim. (Go down a size if you don’t want to rub). They have been excellent in wear and durability by keeping up with rotations and tire pressure. They go through just about everything and have put them to the test in snow. They chew up fresh snow but lack in compact quite a bit. I don’t have a problem with the noise as they make up for it in looks. Just depends on what your boundary’s are. The most aggressive tire in looks (my opinion).

Amp off-road All Terrain Pro, waaaaay better than K02's!

By far the best AT tire I ever owned. I was die hard BFG for 20+ years.

I've had these Amp's on my truck for almost 2 years and the tread has just warn off the new tire tabs. The previous BFG's where done in about a year and a half.

Id go K02's. I'm running them and worked in the Colorado Rockies for years with no issues. Plus my wife and I did a three month 14k mile road trip that forced us to experience just about every type of weather and i can tell you they were solid as can be. That was yrs ago and i'm still running the same set (4wheeling ware and all) with okay tread.

    Crap so many tire choices.
I’ve had duratracs awesome in snow, crappy on cold dry roads.
    Crappy in rain.
No off-road really so no input.

Bfg KOs before the 2 was pretty good all around but loaded up and at half tread didn’t compare to the dirtytracs.
Wear was pretty comparable the dirtytracs looked more aggressive but cupped easier.

Anyone running the Yokohama geolander or geolander mt?
I’m looking at new rubber also.
Having dedicated snows and no real off road opportunities they would be looks and longevity.

I strongly dislike my KO2's and had someone recommend the Yokohama Geolandar A/T to me. Good mix of highway terrain smoothness and mild aggressive all-terrain feel. Haven't tried them but reviews are good.

X2 on BFG pre-2! BFG changed something! I've owned all of the All Terrain since they where known as BFG All Terrain, through KO and KO2. I've owned all of the mud terrain since they where known as BFG Mud Terrain until KM2.

Something changed in the new generations of BFG tires. They are super soft rubber and wear like crazy!

Ask me 25 years ago or up to 3 years ago, what is the only tires I would put on one of my builds and the answer was 100%, Everytime BFG.

Now if you ask me, my response is Amp or anything except BFG.

I have no idea how people don't like KO2's. I'm running C rated 32's and they're awesome in snow, rain, and everything else. They're also quiet on the road.

Same here. 30K on my C rated KO2's, and I couldn't be happier. I've heard that they hydroplane easily, but I haven't experienced it. They're not really the best at anything, but they're pretty good at everything.

I vote Cooper st maxx I’ve had a lot of ATs over the years this was the best imho overall. But once it hits half tread and gets to the hard compound it stupid loud like a MT but still grips like a tank track.

I'm running Geolandar A/T 265/65R18 on my truck and really love them so far. They were on the truck when I bought it over a year ago. Best tires I've ever owned. I've put 30K +/- miles and they still have great tread on them. They have done great on & off road, and they are just now starting to get a little loader. They don't look super aggressive but still nice.

Because you never owned real BFG All Terrain's or BFG Mud Terrains. If you have nothing to compare to, you have no reference.
