I am around 65k and did not look much different then the new ones. Was a big WTF moment when I realized they gave me the wrong ones.

And yes that passenger side is a big PIA

Thats a hell of a lead time. Wonder if he has more time to work on them due to this down time.

Pretty sure you need to cut the snout before installing the quick change hub.

edit: ive been thinking smaller than 2.8. I would cut the snout and toss on a 2.8 so you can easily swap for the smaller later. Less stuff to press on.

Don't forget to dab some gasket maker on the seam/ casing near the oil dip stick when doing the valve body gaskets. Otherwise it may leak.

Well, 2.7 pulley on with the for mod and a 255lph pump. Until I get the tune I'll be driving easy to be on the safe side. The old one didn't come off so easy. I had to hear up the old pulley.

yah I have a tube of FPIG from Toyota when I grabbed the gaskets. I figured the existing one would suffice given the age is not too old. I did call toyota and should have the correct one here tomorrow so prob will just open up and replace since i have not bolted the SAIS back on, just hanging there.

Do I need to pull the plugs or can I leave them in? I had them pulled before since I was removing the stock for the SC install.

My NST saga continues. Shipped them back the Alternator pulley. Arrived last Saturday. Naturally it arrives on a weekend when no one is there. They emailed me saying they had not received my pulley yet. :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

    A lot of stuff
I could use some help here. I just bought a Tacoma with a super charger already installed. I was digging around in the engine bay looking things over and found this thing circled in red. It has 9EC48BD0-DC06-4FB4-AE03-E3C824B29705.jpg wires running to it with I believe 2 small hoses that are not hooked up to anything. Does anyone know what this is and does it need to be hooked up to something ? The truck runs fine as is.

    ACIS solenoid.

it controls vacuum to a butterfly valve in the stock intake manifold, which is no longer present on a s/c truck.

it can be removed, not used/needed in a TRD/Magnuson setup.

Yes Sir! Got them running. Just need them fine tuned now!! Definitely feel more power from 2.5 to 2.3 but my clutch doesn’t like it! So new clutch and CM TOB next on the list.
