    I know that the older ones use the Uni-balls and the newer ones have the Moog Ball joints and I think they just started making them a couple of months ago. I know that they were making them for a while with the uniballs.

    :notsure: something disposable and replaceable to better protect the body of the LCA itself. Once it gets bad enough just toss it and get a new one. Protects the actual LCA and prolongs its life. May not be the most necessary thing but I can understand why they did it.

    Does it though? My OEM lca's have been through 19 years of life, and 5 years of hard wheeling and only had minor scrapes in it before I plated it. And the plating was more for strengthening the overall structure than anything else. It's a fucking gimmick to raise prices, that's all. Just like diff diapers.
