Do you need longer bolts to install the spacers or just use the bolts that come with the BP-51’s?

I used the same HS 1/4” spacers and used the bolts that came with the bp51’s no problem and plenty of thread.

    I just ordered a set.
With my drivers side set at 15mm and passenger set at 12mm I still have a good but it negative rake in the front. Even more so now that’s it’s settling after 300 miles.
I really don’t want to adjust the preload anymore. Hoping these will help.

    Good morning!

With everything going on around here I was finally able to install my BP-51s and MD leafs as well as bumpstops for both the front and rear.

Unfortunately I did not preorder the strut compressor beforehand and now there is a week+ wait for anything on Amazon so I had to take it to a shop to adjust the preload. I had them set the preload to 13mm driver side and 10mm passenger side. I was really hoping that would fix the driver side lean but I am still about 3/4" lower on the driver side. I've also started to notice a weird metallic-ish (higher pitched) noise coming from somewhere up front during acceleration. Generally tapers off when coasting and higher speeds and not loud enough to hear with the windows up or music playing. Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

Are you getting any vibration? Does it go away when you engage 4WD?
If so then it is the needle bearing in the diff on the front drivers side. Replace that with a East Coast Gear Supply clam shell bushing.

I haven't tried 4WD yet and nor did I notice any significant vibrations. Would it be in the steering wheel, the gas pedal, the whole vehicle? I was thinking of doing the ECGS bushing but thought I would just wait until i had it regeared.

Whole vehicle from what I’ve read. I’ve never experienced it. I’ve always replaced it when I’ve done the suspension on my trucks.

So just took a quick trip to check out the noise. The first half of the drive I did not notice any noise however on the way back I did. I also checked out the 4WD and it did not stop the noise from happening. Once I got home I crawled under the front end and noticed the passenger side lower sway bracing mount was not tightened down. Not sure if that would cause the noise or not. This concerns me a little because now I'm curious as to what else the shop may have forgotten to torque down.
Did you purchase the extraction tool?

That would for sure cause the noise going around turns. That’s scary. Better get to checking your bolts it sounds like.

Yeah I purchased their tool. Doing it without will make your life a nightmare. I also always installed a new oil seal.

    Ok, so I'm bored....

I've had my bp-51s in for about a year-year and a half now.. all good I like them but I am thinking I would like another inch of lift.

What's the best way to do this? I netted about 2.25 inches all around. I have skids, sliders, and the sso Slimline bumper - no winch. I have the front set to 10mm right now and have the medium duty Dakar leaf pack

What's the best route to go for more lift?

You could increase preload a tad and get some @HeadStrong Off-Road spacers.

Did you do anything extra to the rear or just let it level out the truck?

I have a 1.5” rake. I had the HD leaf pack and removed the 3rd spring to make it a medium duty pack.

Just went outside and remeasured. I’m actually sitting at a 1” rake. 38.5” from ground to fender in the front. And 39.5” from ground to the rear fender. Pic below is how it sits right now.
