Any rear led hyperflash on ‘20 w/LED headlights?

Anyone experience hyperflash after installing rear led taillight bulbs on a ‘20 with OEM LED headlights?

I have a desire to swap rear bulbs for led, but I am not sure how rear leds will perform on a ‘20 model with oem led front headlights/turn signals.

I have no desire to spend $100+ for Meso solutions.

 

Ditto on your question - I have a 2020 TRD PRO, brand new. I took my LED lights out of my trade 2017 TRDOR thinking they might work but they don't, I get hyperflash on the 2020 even thought the headlight turn signals are LED on my 2020. On my 2017 I had the wired in resistors but I didn't want to do that on my 2020. I have researched and still come up empty handed for a bulb that has built in resistors for 7443.
Any guidance on this would be appreciated. thanks!

 

I know meso has a nice package for all the rear lights that I’ll probably do but it is out of stock right now, he’s probably waiting for vled to restock.

On my old f150 I was able to run leds by switching the hazard relay to a different one which allowed me to run leds with no issues. Don’t think that works on these trucks though.

 

If you install them and you do get hyperflash you can get an LED flasher module from Diode Dynamics that will solve it without having to add a resistor on each bulb harness. It's like $15 after tax I think

Edit: Actually after doing some research it looks like 3rd gens may not have a replaceable flasher. You may just have to use resistors.

 

Yes, you can get hyper flash on rear turns.

I put resistors in mine.

 

What module, all I could find is them offering resistors when I selected LED turns for rear there.

 

I just updated my post after some research, I actually don't think you can get one for a 2020 after all

 

Oh ok, yeah I had the module in my 2nd gen, yeah doesn’t work on 3rd.

 

I just received a @MESO Stage I Total Tail Light Kit recently - tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 50s so I plan on installing it then. Others with 2020 Pros have installed them without hyperflash. MESO can also provide an in-line resistor that is an easy plug-and-play and he sent me a set just in case. I'll let you know tomorrow evening if I needed the resistors or not.
