They are both solid billion dollar companies. You could still get in at this price and come out on top.

Throw your stimulus check at some of these stocks, and you'll double that check real quick!

Thought this was kinda cool. No desire to invest in F but still intriguing to see how they come up with things like this.

also, in regard to the cruise line stuff, we bought into RCL. Back up again but going to set it and forget it to sell when it hits $100. I’ll have a huge return on that (bought at 37 since it spiked right after market opened couple weeks ago)

I'll probably save mine, just in case. I'm buying though, expecting it to stay low for a while so no rush.

:oops:Well I guess I’m a pansy because I just sold everything. I couldn’t help it with the 68% increase in a week :smash:

Hopefully it goes back down again. At that point I may re-enter. This is why I hate threads like this and should avoid them. Someone mentioned a depression and a possible future economy like what Japan went through and I just couldn’t help it.

Well I’m regretting not buying Boeing Stock Monday morning. Crazy how things flip around so quick. I thought I had 20 days or so until the bottom hit. cant predict the future I guess.

Companies that take the government bailout can't do buybacks (that's expected) and can't pay dividends (that's pretty shocking) while the loan is outstanding. I am really hoping none of the companies I own need that bailout.

Until the truck is paid off I’m not investing outside my retirement accounts. Once it’s paid off I’ll start looking at making it a hobby.

How are we feeling about high-yield savings accounts? Assuming we come back to normal here soon (my opinion) then how quickly will these interest rates come back? I have a feeling it won't be nearly as quick as they fell

But how temporary is this spike upward going to be? Cities are shutting down left and right, unemployment is shooting upwards as this happens, and other than saying here a big glob of money is... nothing is really any more uncertain than yesterday right?

More testing is bringing down the mortality rate. I think people are noticing this.

Much like a junkie, this could end up being a temporary high. When the 1st and 2nd qtr results start coming in the full magnitude of the situation can be accurately digested. There's some bargains out there, but a lot of stocks are still over-valued. I'm pretty impressed with Tesla clawing it's way back up on nothing but a sea of downgrades in stock price.

Nobody ever went broke taking a profit. Might have another buying opportunity tomorrow when the unemployment numbers are released.

market is forward looking. We aren’t betting on cities in a month, stock prices are affected by what they think earnings and the company will look like in a few months. And that’s on the up.

q1 won’t be bad at all. Maybe a small unemployment increase, profits will be similar maybe some of the airlines and cruise lines down. Otherwise manufacturing and medical and whatnot, been able to stay on the up and up and running through March. Everyone has been able to make due with their current stocks. April, and q4 however, will be a disaster. Late q2 is when we’ll see layoffs and the unemployment numbers will be worse in q2 as we deal with a shut down of supply chains.

I think it’ll be a steady recovery and this won’t be as bad as 2008 on the tail end. Right now it’s as bad/worse but I think we’ll come back from this one stronger and faster than we did 2008.
