OK, so... I wish I could help ya, but at this point in time, doesn't look like I'll be taking a trip like that for a while.
I do plan on visiting @Arcticelf at some point, and really wanted to hit Rausch and/or AOAA, but with pandemic and all, not happening yet.

I'll definitely keep you in mind if/when I'll be heading that way. :turtleride:

    Yup, most definitely:thumbsup:
We're OK. NYiis on the lock down... So wifey and kiddos are staying home. Unfortunately my line of work is considered "essential", so I'm not staying home with them....
How are things with you, and how's your area? Any shutdowns or whatever?

The national guard is in Baltimore City ready and waiting. Debbie and I have been working from home since last Monday.

Both our companies issued statements to continue to work from home until further notice.

Our supplies are holding up but eventually we will have to address that. Not looking forward to it.

I pray people continue to help each other and act civil in the coming days. It's a super stressful situation for sure. I hope everyone can keep it together until this is over.

Too funny. I guess we really are covering the same area. My daughter used to work at K&K ranch every summer for years.

Ok Peeps. I hope all of you are following the rules and being responsible. Not just for you, but also for your families sake. I know all of you have those extra large hearts and helping others is in your DNA. My wife and I are working from home and avoiding contact with people at all costs since we are both in the prime affected age range, and I have underlying medical conditions that compromise my immune system. Those conditions (Type II Diabetes being one) are under control but we're still not taking any chances.

So, not right now, but in the very near future I'd like to run my exhaust up to Seb @Bastek and in the process, my TRD Pro wheels and tire package to upstate New York for a member @Decepticon4991. He's new to the forum and a member of our military.

He's stationed up at Fort Drum NY and has offered to drive down to Cicero, NY. I will try to lure him farther if possible :fingerscrossed:

So the cargo is 5 mounted wheels and tires.

I have been looking at the first page but I am not sure who I can involve, if anyone at all. It's probably not much sense unless someone just happens to be going that way with nothing better to do and an empty bed.

If I make the entire trip myself and can convince Seb to swing by the West side of Philly for lunch it looks like it's about 6 hours one way to Cicero. My route would be US Rte 1, to I-476 to I-81, and back the same way. Naturally I'm open to transport things for others along this route.

Again though, this is not going to happen for at least a month, unless things get further out of hand with being required to not travel. I'm not even sure if it is legal as is to cross state lines. I would probably call the state police for Md, Pa and NY to be sure I am not breaking any laws or could wind up quarantined. That would be totally unacceptable. I also don't want to get the buyer into trouble with his CO or the military. I'm sure he agrees.

If anyone has any better ideas to keep me from having to make the entire drive, as usual, I am willing to compensate you. I'm already going to reduce my price of the sale 10% for the buyer for being in the military. This would also apply to any first responder on the forum. It's just my way of thanking them.

    Thanks,
    Rob

Well Seb, the guy is new, young and in the military so I am taking all that into consideration. If it were one of those older crusty do nothing members I hang out with, things might be different. :D

But I can't wait to see you again. Maybe we can do lunch near Philly. That is as long as the times at hand allow us. I don't even like saying that but it's true. :pout:

    Yup. We'll figure it out.
Also, as you've mentioned, there's still time. Maybe there will be a way to hand the wheels off to someone going that way

Yay! Thank you everyone. I reached out to Rob because i wanted the setup and i need him to hold them for a month or so till we can safely make an exchange. I don't need them right now, and i wouldn't want any of you fine folks risking anything. NY is ground zero after all. Praying the situation improves for the country.
