2020 Tacoma Navigation

So on 2019 and prior TRD model Tacoma’s integrated navigation was included. I recently discovered that the 2020 have navigation but requires the premium package which i do not need. Does anyone know how to get integrated navigation on 2020 models without opting for the premium package?

Use CarPlay or the Android equivalent. Just plug the smartphone in and you’ll have a better navigation experience than any OEM nav software (except maybe Tesla).

Intergraded navigation means gps nav that’s built in and does not require your phone to work. So if you press your map button and it opens a map without your phone plugged in that’s integrated. If it says nav app not installed when you do that then you don’t have integrated nav but can use CarPlay or android auto for navigation.

 

If it’s still like the Entune navigation system in my 17, don’t bother.

 

If you are into plugging your phone in for music and such, skip it. Not worth the price of admission unless you want those other included options.
