searched for what I was looking for and luckyline auto parts in Fredericksburg VA shipped them for $230 for the set.

 

That seal makes me worried for water.

 

I’m mean, they’re sealed... but only time will tell if they’re good for the long run.

 

I feel your pain Bud and I'm not far behind. No one planned on this. Life has a way of throwing you a curve when you least expect it! Not that it's much comfort but when you think you've come to the end of your rope......, tie a knot and hang on!

I retire effective June 30th - my successor is already picked (my Executive VP). Luckily, I pulled some funds for the new Tacoma a month before everything went south. It's only a loss if you pull it now.

 

In for the long (hopefully not too long) haul. Pulling out now won't get anyone where they need to be. Only logical choice now is to ride it out and hope for the best. Good advice and we'll received. I'm a survivor, will just have to survive a little longer is all.

Still going to dive on that @SouthernStyleOffRoad bumper should the opportunity present itself come hell or high water.

Misery loves company! Damn we have good timing. Hopefully you haven’t outfitted a Tacoma to drive it around the world starting May 15th like me only find all countries’ doors slammed shut. Like @Easthill Bob says, we do lots of planning and life throws curves. Who knows what this will lead up to

Not "done" yet, but I picked up my OME lift and 255/85/16s yesterday. Was going to install this weekend, but I don't know if Denver's stay at home order will let me get an alignment on Monday...

 

Had my 5K service and synthetic oil change done at the Toy dealer. No charge. Said all is perfect with truck, didn't mention OVT Tune, air compressor, lockers, switches, ADM, 4.88 gearing, tires, etc

Plus I got the good news on the Toyota sales guy who got COVID-19 while employed at said dealer (I dunno how he got the actual virus load). Guy is fully recovered!

 

Does anybody know how much negative off-set that I can have on a 2017 Toy Tacoma?

Finally, after 3 months had a chance to work on my truck today. Almost finished porting and polishing my heads and just have a little touch up to do. Next up is taking them to a shop to have them resurfaced. Then I will be replacing the valve oil seals and installing my titanium valves. Finally, the fun part of installing the heads. All 6 exhaust valves are channeled to a single port which Mat from OV Tune says is the biggest restriction in the exhaust system. I was amazed how much metal I had to cut out with a Dremel to match the exhaust gaskets. You would think that Toyota would have made these heads with better tolerances than they did. They should flow a lot better which will help when I add boost. Still have not decided between TT and S/C.

 

About 3/4"-1" including full aluminum skid package, ARB dual compressor and sliders. It's hard to say exactly because I also installed airbags in the rear which raised the rear by about 1", increasing the rake. My plan is to "balance" everything with suspension now that the weight is added.

 

Loaded the bike into my Tacoma “bike rack” and headed to bike trail for some outdoor recreation in these crazy times. Really enjoyed saying hi to everyone on the trail.
