I can vouch for no governor at 120. That's where I pussed out because it was starting to feel floaty.

EDIT: Other years might be different.

 

I don't think i've gone over 90 in my 14, but my buddy said his 14 dead-pedals you at 116mph

 

1st gen on 33's on the way back from Moab outside of SLC on a downhill = 93mph indicated but no speedometer correction at transmission.

There's just noting left to use in the truck at that point. Its topped out and maxed out. Only thing left to do is gears.

When @NorthwestCruiser was NorthwestTaco, he rallied a snow run on North Mountain outside of Darrington. He somehow got to the top where the fire look out cabin was and had to turn around in +2' snow. He whipped out the wireless winch controller and hooked to the JK and was about to winch and the controller started to activate to spool in. He wasn't even touching the controls. He immediately turned off the power to the wireless and direct connected to the winch wired controls access point.
point of this: not so keen on the wireless controllers.

ya that was the story I was thinking of. Did he have the Warn one? I wonder where the interference was coming from? Never had that happen to me though.

Exactly. Coming I90 west from Snoqualmie I always end up creeping triple digits. I know my Silverado was capped at 105, but forgot if the taco does too. 200 and change HP will only do so much. Now a 200hp motorcycle, that's a different story

 

Damn! I was on that road this past summer. Cool drive, but yeah, some people drive like a bat outa hell on it. I was going five over and was passed seven or eight times.
