Yea here in CA they are keeping all non essential businesses closed until at least April 19th, or in the LA County anyway.
I know my company is keeping us paid through the 5th but after that I think chances are good they're going to start laying people off or putting people on furlough status. Worst case I'm afraid of is the owner just saying 'F it I've had a good run, I'm done', since he is nearly 70 after all.

But he's a stubborn Russian millionaire workaholic so I think he'll stick it out unless shit gets really bad. Hopefully after the 19th we'll be allowed to go back to work

yeah you mentioned that he's at the point where he could cash out. Hopefully it's not something you have to worry about.

Not really, stopped freelancing for the most part when I took this gig 5 years ago. Still have a few recurring jobs but those are basically extra mod money.

I've told my wife if this ends up with both of us losing our jobs/businesses then we should take the opportunity to move like we've been talking about for awhile. I have enough put away to live for a year or so if I had to do it but I'd probably use some of that to get trained in another field and start something new, somewhere else

Looking over my shoulder constantly in fear of the FBI learning my true identity

Ya I really feel for those that don't and there are a lot of them in this area where the cost of living is so high. Not really sure how this is gonna play out for most people but it won't be good esp if it goes on longer than they first anticipated.

A local oil/ gas company had one up that I had a good shot at. I’m sure with Utah’s crude being under 20$/barrel it’ll probably get shut down, along with lay offs and shit.

But oil and gas is a boom and bust industry so it’s to be expected

I love how we go full lockdown and all the customers that come in at 60+ and the reason there there is there’s no wait. Do they no realise they’re most at risk? Plus. .9 hours for the day. 2 oil changes and one tire rotation. Yay.
