I had the same plan (had). Apparently, someone in another country can get sick and wipe out my retirement plans, who knew. Strange times.

Looks like a great mount. Amazon is stupid. Apparently this item requires special handling and can't be shipped to me. Living on an Island has it's own problems sometimes.

Sanded my rails down and goth them coated. Didn’t mean for them to, but they match the DB cover pretty well. Installing tomorrow.

They are very bright, especially for not being an LED strip, lights up my whole bed no problem. Pretty easy to wire up and straight forward, only hard part of figuring out how you want to route everything. I taped off my power outlet since I put the switch in the cab.

Good info. I might go this route. Seems easy enough and like the price. Now I just need to decide if I want to tap into the existing factory bed light switch or wire it to a separate switch. Appreciate the info. :hattip:

I'd keep the other two away from the one in the middle that appears to have the dorkal-herpes, wouldn't want that nastiness spreading. ;)

Nice truck! Here’s what it looks like without the sweet decal between the windows in case you were thinking about it:

Definitely not done by me and don't know when but it was recent. I figure it's a key and it seems to be down to bare metal in a few small spots. Yes my truck needs a wash badly. IMG_20200325_184956.jpg

I would try to hook it up to the existing switch, make it more seamless

Too many to list. I’m lazy
I’ve considered it. That and the fenders. Might have them painted though.

You could also install a parallel switch in the box so you have the best of both worlds. I actually wired my lights so I could turn on from inside, turn on from the box or turn on with a remote control.
