Kinda overkill if your not doing serious off reading.

Very true, it all depends what type and how much off roading would you be doing..
I have the stage 9.. The kits are expensive, but worth every penny IMHO.. if you have the money, go for it, you won't look back..

Make sure you research about Icons customer service. There are better companies out there with better customer service for less. They make a good leaf pack though

I would definitely say overkill, but up to you. I know a lot of people run the Bilstein 6112/5160 combo. Don't have it personally, but have heard good things about it, especially if you're not doing anything crazy.

If you buy that kit you will be disappointed paying all that money and have bad on road performance. That setup is take off-road abuse. Your going to feel your suspension very harsh on road.

Have you used their coilovers? What is bad about them?

    I got the ICON stage 9. https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com...0-275-stage-9-suspension-system-w-billet-uca/
This kit provides you with the adjustable shocks CDCV and what this does is, allows you adjust the shocks dampening. The shocks have 10 CDCV settings from soft to firm.. I am currently on the number 5 setting and it works perfect for the on road for me.
The one major difference i notice vs stock is, that the wandering on the road stopped which was a big plus for me..

Icon does make quality products. We do have their stage 8 on our shop t4r. As well as their billet uca/rxt leaf pack on our tacoma.

Some will mention and complain about Icon's ride quality. Personally, I also stock King so I will prefer to compare it to that offering.

So the "main" difference between say King or Icon would be how it is valved. King uses progressive valving, as compared to Icon using digressive valving. The next factor would be coil selection, Icon using 13" length 650# coil springs while King is using 14" 600# length coil springs. (assuming standard coil selection)
