I'm starting to entertain the thought of selling my Best gen (2003) DCSB TRD 4x4. Anyone interested? It has the rare sunroof option that people seem to drool over.

    ~41k on fully rebuilt engine
~59k on fully rebuilt trans (new solenoids, torque convertor, etc)
    ~210k on chassis

Full maintenance records, receipts for engine/trans work. Preventative maintenance up to date.

    Stock except for:
    • OME suspension
    • Foothills Off Road Transformations sliders
    • Plus some other smaller things like new hitch, Ultimate headlight upgrade, upgraded speakers/stereo)
    • Tundra brakes

@Madjik_Man - you could flip yours and then have mine which has a working trans :D

Montana’s alright, not as pretty as Colorado but it’s not overrun yet. Planning on getting out of Bozeman this summer. Want to stay in Montana just don’t know what part yet. Going to explore on the weekends since I have 3 day weekends.

They should do the frame rust TSB while it is accessible.

Full length Rocky Mountain Rack with 40" lightbar & alternating strobe rear dust lights. I used a warm weekend in March 2022 to finally install my brand new, from old stock, 2000 4Runner driver's seat. $800 directly from the factory in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
For a 100 mph crash, it's amazingly intact.

Yeah, I’m thinking now may be a good time to snag one with people potentially not able to make their loan payments. I’m not sure how I’m going to test drive and acquire one without a free dose of corona though.

I would wait a bit more (at least for buying), read an article that Summer could offer up deals like 2009 did for new cars/ truck and that will severally effect used car/ truck market to.

That sounds about right on timing. I need to learn a bunch about 2nd gens so I know what to inspect and also have an idea of how my build will go. :spending:

ECGS Bushing... worth it? I currently have no vibs. I did have my gears installed by ECGS so what are the chances they installed the bushing by default?
