Is the v5 tuning going to be used on the TURBOS?

 

So if we have the flash kit and buy the license for vF Tuner when it’s available will it work on any laptop or will it be locked to the same computer that the flash kit is registered to?

Also are the Accessory HH pretty much useless now since they won’t be compatible with vF Tuner?

 

Is it safe to say TW members making their own tune ?

I remember several mentionings of a self tuning feature from Mat over the last 3 years along with custom tuning for individual truck owners . Does anyone recall him saying a self tuning option was the only future option once 2.0 final was released ?
Mat seems to be saying this was clearly stated multiple times in the past .

 

I’m just posting to say my flash kit arrived Tuesday, software all installed and registered. Went out and “identified” my ECU (04B04) and made sure everything was working correctly. I downloaded the stock tune successfully, grabbed the 2.0 beta files, and tomorrow will tune. Excited for next steps.

 

2.0 beta files are only for 2019, no?

 

@OVTune Is there any hope that we might be able to find a way to use the rear locker in 2hi or 4hi using the VF to Do our own tuning ? Also can we get a early sign up list for the VF license/program ?

Oh got it. Now I remember. I stuck with the OLE version as it gave the Taco the best result.

 

I'm in for another $79 to have access to anything new that comes up on the Tacoma.

Just a thought here. I noticed that all the normal flash stuff & products are no longer linked on your website. Perhaps you could move some of that info to a 'legacy products' section so others can still find information about the products that are still out in the wild?

So after flashing 2.0 Beta AT on my 2020, I wanted to flash it back to stock and got this error. Anyone knows what is going on? As some had suggested, I read the tune file using the flash manager and saved it on my computer. There is no stock tune for 2020 to download from Flash Manager. Don't recall any issue while reading and saving the file.

Any help would be appreciated.
