I tried the stuff you sent me to sample today. Pretty darn good. Little burny on the back end but not bad at all.

Everything came out fantastic. As a concession to the fiance I added a vegetable- brussel sprouts. Not my favorite, so I toss them with olive oil, garlic and rosemary. Put them in the smoker with the ribs then top with parmigian cheese.

Everything on the top shelf from the Cedar Ridge on the left to the Templeton Rye Barrel Strength on the right is made in Iowa.

Obviously this isn't everything that's made here but it's a nice selection from various distilleries across the state

Side note: The Steeple Ridge bourbon is made at the Lonely Oak Distillery less than an hour from me and is currently making hand sanitizer for hospitals and first responders. The owner told me today he'd donate a gallon to my Fire Department if I drove up and got it!

Very nice. I really liked it. Like I said a little heat but not overwhelming at all. Nice taste and the heat left quickly.

It’s useless empty and I don’t drink that one often so might as well enjoy it.
