Ugh I'm sorry... sucks that people can be so shitty and screw over other people like this. I've heard stories like this before and it's always pissed me off immensely. I hope you can get it sorted out easily...

 

Well I'm calling it a night. Be safe everybody. And go wash your hands.

 

These are the rules.

• Make sure there aren't any kids around, unless you're at an amusement park or Chucky Cheeses.
• Don't waste your money on beer or alcohol. It won't have any affect and is just a waste of money and empty calories.
• Rent a couple movies, like 10. Just turn the audio on and unplug the tv so you can't see them. Top of the list should be Avatar, Alien, Toy Story (all of them), Lord of the Rings (Any or all of them but listen to them in reverse order), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Interstellar, Pink Floyd's The Wall, Guardians of the Galaxy.
• Hide all your scissors and kitchen knives. Put some large spoons in the freezer. You'll thank me later.
• Buy some Playdoh. You may not need it but you'll be glad you have it if you do.
• Unplug your house phone and hide you cell phone. Officers of the law will not share in your joy.
• Buy and put on flesh colored lycra clothes. It will look like your naked to yourself so you'll be less likely to want to get naked. Get some water based paints just in case though. Permanent markers aren't called that for nothing.
• Only surround yourself with people who are happy. You do not want to be around anyone that's emotionally unstable, unhappy, or mean.
• Put on comfortable shoes. Keep them on no matter what.
• Eat at least as long before as it takes for you to get hungry. You'll want your stomach empty. Don't worry about food during. You won't want it.

Being a landlord can be a real headache.

The current tenant of my rental condo is such an asshole.
She scratched up the brand new hardwood flooring while moving in.
What jerk does that? Put a rag or paper towel at least under the legs of your furniture.
She complains about running out of hot water. It's a 35 gallon tank. WTF?

She lets her dogs run and shit everywhere.
HOA rules are leashed dogs only when outside and you pick up the poop.
She lets her dogs piss on the lampposts and now they gotta be repainted.

I was on the phone today with the Home Owner's Association about it.
They called me about residents' complaints.

I need documentation of multiple, repeat violations to have a case to evict her.
You're right about laws not favoring landlords.
Worse comes to worst, I'll refuse to renew her lease at the end of the year.

BTW, she's on Housing Assistance.
Just has no consideration for anyone.

 

I'll neither confirm nor deny that I might have dropped some mescaline a time or two back in the day.
Keep it simple.
Go camping...far away from any possibility of getting into trouble and landing in jail.
Run around in the woods naked.
