So how's the garage coming? I'm about 70% there. I gutted the whole far side and added some new shelves, gained another work surface, and converted soe of the old shelves into a steel rack to store supplies. I still need to make a dump run, put some equipment into the shed and straighten a few more things up. Off again on Friday so i can finish then.

Just about done with it! Ignore the stuff on the right leaning against the shelves and the skids leaning on the bike, that's all gonna go either on the truck or away for good.

Looking good! That should free up some work space.

There's easily 6' more work space. Now when I park my Jeep right shall in the middle I can walk around both sides without having to shuffle past anything. Looking forward to getting rid of the pile against the shelves. That'll add another 18" easy

Honestly IDk if it wold ever be enough. I've been wanting a metal brake and tubing bender for a while now just no available space for them. I really need a seperate metal shop. You see the thing covered up in the pictures, the outside cat sleeps on it. It has to be the worlds most expensive cat bed

I have a few things that need to be taken out to the shed, which is a mess, and make a dump run and it'll be pretty good. I'd clean all the automotive paint off the shelves but that isn't very easy to get rid of around here

And that, my friend, would get me a divorce. I'd never come in the house especially if it has a bathroom. What I have been considering is a 24x30 and make the 30 length. A bay door on the front, a small bay door on one rear corner, and a humn door on the opposite rear corner. Go in 20' and partition off the whole rear section and then split that inside. One side would be for lawn equipment and the other would be for house storage. My only concern would be storing gas in the yard equipment side with me welding in the other part and IDK if a 20x24 space would be big enough to fit a Tacoma in with swingouts and close the door with it being 20' deep.

    lol I hear ya

That's the way I would go. 2500 sqft of house upstairs, 2500 sqft of garage/shop downstairs, 1000 sqft of patio/balcony too! If I don't go the bus route that's the goal I will work towards.

24x30' sounds like a good size. I think 20x24, sounds like you might end up getting a bit cramped. I also like the doors on the front and rear corner idea. Makes it easy to get toys and things in and out without having to move a vehicle.

    Nice

Just chilling on the couch watching Breaking Bad again, still drinking my Shiners. @Oldie2007 topped me off earlier this afternoon when he came to get some of my old junk.

I'm hoping that bit and the tap come in tomorrow so I can finish the crawl box temp gauge. I got it installed today since I had the day apart. I got the probe with the heat gun to make sure it was functional since I got it used off eBay

And that's the best thing that's ever been in that 4wd knob hole lol

It fits pretty well. What is your plan for cleaning up that switch hole?

Btw, that new ADD switch got me back into fully functioning 4x4

I had the seats out while I installed the rock lights so I also vacuumed under them, fuck that was filthy! I also washed the seats and floorboards again

Still getting a lot of dirt out of them

I'll probably leave it as is. It's not a very big gap around the gauge, maybe 1/16" all the way around. I think I want to pull the wrap off and just run it factory black again though.

Glad to hear you got the 4x4 working again!
