Hello everyone, Its been a while since I've posted anything on here. Yesterday I had a guy contact me about the headlights/corner lights I have in my truck, I have them pictured below,

    Tacoma Lights.jpg
    Tacoma Woofs.jpg

The problem is, it has been some time since I purchased and installed them in my Taco (going on 10 years now) I know I purchased them eBay when I bought them new (whenever that was.) So I told the guy I would help him to try and find a link to this style. He said he has searched with no luck finding this style housing. I also tried searching yesterday and some this morning with no luck finding anything. The only thing I am finding is the black housings with an orange reflector on the corner. I don't know if there has been a change for some reason for companies to stop making clear reflector corners or what, but they are all over the place for newer vehicles still???? I figured I would come to the main source for help on this one. I did happen to stumble across this one website this morning,

    https://www.efilmaio.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=409985

It looks kinda cheesy to me, and would make me leery to order from them but I have not had any other luck trying to help this guy out.

I APPRECIATE ANYTHING YOU ALL CAN PROVIDE FOR ME!!!

I know you have them on your truck, and you seem to be relatively happy with them, but I would suggest against the 1 piece headlights. They are kind of a pain to install, you can't aim them (because they are fixed to the corner lights), and pretty much anything available today is definitely form over function. In other words, they might look kinda cool, but they spent their entire R&D budget on making them look cool, rather than function well and provide for good light beam projection.

Spyder makes some once piece units, but they are pretty well known for lack of function. But at least they look cool...

So I guess if you never drive at night you can focus on looks alone, but if you drive at night, even occasionally, a high quality light beam pattern is far more important, imo.

They aren't 1 piece headlights, they are two separate pieces just set together in the picture. They are just like the factory headlight housings except these are blacked out around the edges for looks obviously. Aimed perfect and been running them for almost 10 years now like I stated above.

These are probably hard to find because they corrected the design to comply with the USDOT standards.

A clear reflector, even with an orange bulb, won't have proper color side marker reflectors when driving with the lights off or when parked on the street.

Orange front and red rear side reflectors and lights are required on all cars in the US made since 1970.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automotive_lighting#Side_marker_lights_and_reflectors

They do look very nice without the orange, but I'd have to recommend he just goes with those similar street legal ones instead unless it's for a strictly off road or show truck.

Yea the amber reflector has been required in the US, but not in some other countries. They used to be more abundant online when these trucks were newer, but now aftermarket parts are starting to disappear.

Actually Amber is not good for position lights in Europe, so amber reflecting inserts are not even legal. For my truck I had to hunt for clear front markers so I could use it with white bulbs.
I had no such luck with 5th gen 4Runner - no aftermarket lamps with clear corners. I had to open the lamp and remove amber "cups". For Nissan Versa Note that was not possible (amber insert was glued in) so to stay legal I converted side markers to additional blinkers.

I haven't seen any people get too uptight about what color lense reflectors you have. I know orange/amber is what is "legal" I was just trying to help the guy out in finding some for his truck because he came to me personally off a facebook forum I'm on about mine.

@Rebel Taco Man that's a nice lookin truck. Recently, I decided to minimize the chrome accents on mine. Thinking about changing the headlights to black Halo projectors and removing all the lettering except the Toyota Tacoma emblems on the driver and passenger doors. I only want Tacoma on the tailgate.
