I sent Stew a note but thought maybe the herd might have a solution...or at least an idea.

I installed the Stage I Tail Light Kit this morning - easy process. Before bolting the lights back in I started the truck and tested the turn signals. One side worked perfectly but when I flipped to the other I got a flashing amber on the turn side and the opposite side flashed white.

I swapped the light to the other side (it's a solid unit as opposed to the upper two bulbs) and got the same result.

I also put the resistors on just in case...same result.

So, I reversed the set up and reinstalled my OEM bulbs/harness. Ugh.

Any ideas? I'm assuming that the one lower light is defective.

Might be the harness? Might be the light itself?

I was thinking the light since swapping to the other side reversed the effect. But, I did hear from Stew and he thought it was the harness - going to send me a replacement.

The bad news is that I isolated the light...but not the harnesses so I don't know which one is which...so it will be a trial and error run.

If you have Meso’s turn signals, you don’t need resistors. Turn signals have built in resistors
