Who is at work and wondering what the heck they're actually doing there?

My agency was definitely not prepared for any of this; which is funny considering their purview. We're on an abbreviated schedule because the powers that be want to maintain the mission, but very little is occurring to impact our mission. We've been sitting here all morning playing pranks on the people that aren't here.

Our VPN and Skype servers are getting bent over right now. I don't think many agencies were ready for this volume and we're scrambling to find funding to expand on what is in place.

My papers are generic from Homeland with additional agencies listed in the header. That said, the current end date is pretty much the end of May.

And no... my name an address is not on them

Border patrol? Or something like it? Not trying to being an ass, but I still have no idea what you are talking about. Do we need papers to drive between states now?

I think he's more going for the non-essential employees that probably shouldn't be out running around. I have yet to hear/see about any checkpoints and I doubt it'll happen. But just in case, a few agencies have handed out letters stating the persons' purpose and employ.

I got a letter stating I’m essential so I can get on base if needed. One local base already went to HPCON Delta and I could see it happening to mine too. They kick off all non essential and only let essential on.

No letters on Quantico yet, at least for my office. Hence my lack of understanding WTF was going on. Plus, I live under a rock.

Think of it this way.... lock down/curfew hours. Only those that can be out while showing proof, Get to pass go. Then, pending on what’s happening or who’s in the know.. you still might get shut down.

Will it get to this point, Who knows. I do think it’s possible, Just because.

My conspiracy (talking outta me big toe).. haha

Big Gov. already started with telling the public what to do. Some States are going (have gone) further with it, and the peoples are listening because they are scared.. just a matter of time when big Gov. drops the hammer across the country because the reigns have already been tightened enough. BLAMMO!! Done deal.

dang. Not even drinking yet. What the hell?.

I’m on a two week lockdown anyways because my wife got a mild fever today, so I won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. I feel fine for now but don’t want to risk spreading it, regardless of what it is.

“An abundance of caution” is the term that keeps getting thrown around.
