It was very good. It was not sweet at all which is a positive for me.

I will ask this though... when you live with someone with a massage certification do you need a massage gun?

Yup. It’s not necessarily just for a “massage” it’s more to get the blood flowing to the area. She usually will do the deep tissue massage and then hit me with the gun for a few minutes. It also gets in areas she’s not as good at. She typically uses her elbows. She’s got weak hands lol so she can’t really dig in to the knots I get in my rotator cuff area so one of the attachments digs in real good

no happy ending with the gun...unless you take care of it yourself....but it does turn on any time you feel like it. :notsure:

Corona workout Day 2: I’m not sure what life has become.

    50 air squats
    1.5 mile run
    50 squats
    1.5 mile run
    50 squats

30min and some change. Not bad for a fat powerlifter. Literally have done no cardio in like 18 months.

none of this bothered the quad at all, but I can’t do one single lunge without pain. :notsure:

Deadlifts today (obviously). Still hitting good numbers even though the gym is closed. I said fuck it and put all the weights I had on the bar and did top sets of 2x2.

I’m currently haggling on a bowflex I found for sale online. Lol.

three weeks ago I would be poopy-faced if my favorite bar was being used by someone else when I got to the gym.

    None yet...
Thankfully I belong to a private gym down the street that the owner put California on the map for doing power lifting meets... but, during these times a home gym does seem the safer bet. What's the highschool kid doing for food and workouts today, yesterday, anytime?...

Well, between my brother and myself, we have acquired a bowflex, barbell, 4 100lb plates, 2 45s, 25s, 10s, 5s. Adjustable curl bar, 10-35 dumbbells and a set of 50s. Now if we can just find a squat rack or build one.

    Let’s go!

I litt threw my set of jerk blocks i had built when we first opened the gym in a dumpster a few months ago. Would have been perfect temporary squat rack. Lol. Live and learn.
