Once again sir, you prove that you are the MAN!

when I woke up and started thinking straight again, I realized if I just hook the tailgate in as another door, I’d have to put in an override switch for when I leave my tailgate down or off (way to clunky). This will help me figure out how I need to wire up the tailgate switch. Thank you!

The OEM lights that are by the tailgate. I’ll be wiring them to the ones in the 3rd brake light, but this isn’t about the lights. The goal is to have the cargo light switch in the automatic or “door” position illuminate the cargo lights when the tailgate is open instead of when a door is open. I’d also like to make sure it’s on that circuit that shuts down the interior lights after 20 minutes.

I appreciate the file, but what I’m doing is a bit outside of the normal install. I love how the members here are so quick to respond to questions. I posted last night while falling asleep and awake to multiple answers. I just want to say I Really appreciate All of you in this community! TW Rocks!

Removed the front air dam and I think it looks better. I wonder if it affects fuel mileage at all?

Plastidipped the TRD OR wheels. I love it!! And it saved me a ton of money on buying new wheels. I always liked the style of the TRD wheels, just not the two tone. Eh, only took me 3 1/2 years to get around to it. I think with the blacked out grill, debadged, and quicksand it looks much better now. Now I'm debating on removing the TRD 4x4 sticker.

I used the heat of the sun and my fingers. I cleaned it up with rubbing alcohol and it's been great the last four years now.

Thanks man, it just peels right off. It was warm out when I did it. Might need a hairdryer these days depending on your location. Maybe a little goo gone. It’s just a sticker though.

    Hi Tom.
I have a set of OEM Bed Lights that I haven't installed yet. There may be wiring instructions in the box I'd have to check. If you need them burn me a PM and I'll take a look.

    Ditto!

That's how I removed the TRD Stickers on my bedsides. The only residue left behind was just a trace outline of the sticker and that came right off with the alcohol. The newer the decal the easier is should be to remove.

I'm going to plastidip my sport wheels this weekend. I'm getting Billy 51s installed, so I'm taking advantage it while the they're off the truck. How many cans did you end up using and how many coats? I bought 8 from Home Depot the other day.

You won't use anywhere near that much. I did six coats, plus a little spray here and there extra in spots that I didn't cover as good. I bought four cans and did my grill and four wheels and still have a couple cans left.
