2nd Gen Ultimate LED Dome and Map lights

Welp, I was thinking I didn't need these but with that refresh looks great! I think I'm going to have a pick up a set. Nice work Meso!

What’s the password for this super secret pre order list? Owned my Tacoma for almost 7 months and this is honestly the only mod I’ve been wanting since then.

Nope‼️ I *think* it’s been more than a year sense he’s sold any lights for a 2nd Gen. So I thought it would be a waste of time to ask. Plus I have never read where MESO lights has any warranty⁉️
Look for yourself and see how long it’s been sense MESO has sold any lights for 2nd Gen. trucks. He’s been MIA for sometime...

 

Will the map lights have the same control as the dome lights, brightness adjustment and dual color switching?

 

Been waiting for like 2 yrs, lol.

 

Took my dome light out last night and looked it over. All the solder joints looked good but I hit them with a rework gun anyway. Didnt help, so unfortunately it might be a trace inside the circuit board that has broken.. Guess I have 3/4 of a dome light now

 

Can’t you just replace the factory with an LED?

 

But then you wouldn’t have to wait. Seriously, these Rascals are worth it.

 

You can, nothing wrong with that. But when doing a regular LED bulb replacement.. you are limited in size to whatever fits in the socket. This surface area is greatly reduced as is the output. Having the entire panel filled solid with LEDS(my ultimate dome) utilizes the maximum area.

 

They look great just seems from the thread that getting one can be a bit of a challenge.

 

I wanted a tactical set (dual color) dome and map lights. I put my name on the list and have been waiting since. It has been so long I discounted even the prospect of these ever being offered again. If anyone else has been able to purchase a 2nd Gen set I will re-budget and continue waiting. Getting ready for a cross country adventure and these would be nice for navigating.

Was anyone able to order and receive a set of the 2nd gen lights in the since October 2019?

 

He had none available all of 2019 , I’ve been checking for over a year. Supposedly is finally gonna mass produce but will see, they look great but if Meso has no written warranty on them I won’t waste my money.

 

to your knowledge has he shipped faulty sets and not fixed the issue?

 

I stand corrected he offers a 30 day warranty. Not very good.

 

That’s I couldn’t say since 2nd gen guys haven’t even been able to get product to start with for a long long time.

 

I got the White Dome and Red Maps in his 2nd run I think. No issues at all, my dumbass has left them on all night by accident and had no problems.

Any idea on the wattage or current on these? I can figure the R value to dim it down from that. I have both dome and map in white.
