It's surprising to me that a 2015 DCSB TRD OffRoad with 40k miles is not much more than a clean 1st gen DCSB with 150k+ miles... I feel like I can make the switch fairly inexpensive.

Another cash for clunkers type thing to boost the private party value of my used cars?

Where are you finding those deals? I find 4door 1st gens in the 8k range and 2.5 gens in the low 20s. The 1st gen market isn't that great lately that I've found, unless they are really built.

Ya know, I like my 4Runner. Good rig. Still feel like I shoulda kept my '15, though. Should've kept the truck and had my wife trade in her Grand Cherokee on a 4Runner.

It is, but this decision is purely financial.

It's pretty likely that it's already in there. They didn't even ask if I wanted the bushing or the solid spacer they just added it on. You might be able to call and ask or just pull the axle shaft one day and check.

Thats what we did, trading the grand cherokee for the 4runner was the best decision ever.

I'd think his invoice would show what they did and what he paid for. :notsure: must have thrown that in the trash.

Yeah I'm back up here for a little while. It's for a friend building a motovan/camping rig. I told him I'd ask around.

Looking at the upcoming events, depending on how this corona crap goes it’ll be May 2 would be a good date. Possibly sooner if events get canceled

    Greetings CO folks!

Wanted to introduce myself outside of the introduction forum. I'm in Indian Hills, between Morrison and conifer. Just got my first truck, 2016 AC AT TRD off-road in metallic gray. All stock at this point, about 92k miles.

Any recommendations on first mods? Looking at a shell for the back, potentially sleeping back there or using a RTT on top. Cab-height or above cab?

Any other small mods for functionality would be appreciated too. Mainly wanted to say hi!

Welcome to TW! What are you planning to do with your truck? It's an OR, did you get it for the cool cockpit controls on the roof (like I did) or because you plan on taking it out on the trail whenever possible?

First thing I did was put sliders on mine, because you never know when you're going to wind up on the Rubicon. Then I drove it for a couple of seasons and got a feel for what I liked and what I wanted to change. Just started doing the bigger updates this spring.
