I picked this up today. 1895 made in 1916, chambered in 35 Winchester.

I’ve always wanted one of those in 405 Winchester.

I’m sure that’s what most people want them in. Lol. I always wanted one in 30-06, so I could have it rebored by JES to 35 Whelen. I figured 35 Win was close enough...I just need to form brass from 30-40 Krag instead of 30-06. I’m hoping it is twisted fast enough to stabilize 250 grain partitions. And for the price of a Ruger American, I couldn’t pass it up.

If you picked that up for the price of a Ruger American that’s a steel no matter what caliber it’s in:thumbsup:

Covid-19 and panic buying will save me a lot of money over
the next few months. The LGS has blocked off the all the guns
and you have to wait at least 1/2 hour to 1 hour to get in
just to look. Not doing it. All common ammo basically gone.

Before they did that, was a little more than 48 hours ago I
picked up this Remington 700 in 300 Win Mag. Probably only had
5 to 10 rounds through it, looks new. Only think I don't like
    is taking on another caliber.

So with the panic buying, last sunday I was searching for 300 win mag
ammo. Have gone to UNAmmo several times but had never purchased.
Found they had cancelled contract ammo in 300 win mag 180 gr. SPCE
made by Sellier & Bellot. Only thing different was it was not packaged like you
would get in stores which is why it was cheaper. 400 rds. for $275.

Was lucky I ordered when I did. I went to their website a couple days
ago and they are sold out of pretty much all pistol, rifle, and
shotgun ammo. Anyway blah blah blah, picture below......

Scope mount for the Marlin 60, hoping to put a good 245-250 Appleseed rifle together for very little money, to prove it can be done without super-duper NRL22 level accuracy or Nightforce level optics. Given the 239 on the platform last time I was out with irons I sure think it's doable.

D1E3A072-A558-4EF3-930E-27C3E66CD1F0.jpg I got super lucky today. I bought 1000 rounds of Federal XM193 and 450 rounds of Black Hills 69gr MatchKing HPs for $500 from a friend. The MatchKing normally goes for $1 per round. EC18BA44-AEE7-4B1F-BA05-B01B40B46704.jpg

Just placed a small order to restock some of what I used yesterday at the range. Didn’t want to be the people who are buying it all up when others could really use it more.

    500 rds of .22
    100 rds of 9mm
    100 of .223

Big box stores are cleared out temporarily, and gun shops are closed. A lot of online places were cleared out as well. Or those few places that are price gouging still had some at ridiculous prices. Luckily the place I order from got a little bit of stuff back in stock.

just like TP the shelves and warehouses will be stocked soon. Assuming just about every ammo plant one has some sort of gov contract and are considered essential
