Is it about cat replacement only? Now I have re-route and they can say that this is a root cause despite the fact that re-route is after cat.

They might say that, but as long as it is after the cat, and its not causing any restriction it should be fine.

if they welded the pipes in a weird way that they don’t allow enough air to flow through. Unless it was done by someone who does not know what they are doing this should not be the case. Post up some pics and we should be able to tell. I would take it to the dealer and have them assess it.

Just got my reroute and axle dump done today. $314 a bit high but best place in town and friendly. Performance Exhaust Evansville, IN. I'm happy with how it turned out. Now to get my Budbuilt built skids on this weekend. (Poorly painted)

Is it just me or does the exhaust head back towards the front of the truck before it curves back to the original exhaust pipe? If so your restricting your airflow. Doesn’t look like a well thought out job if I’m seeing that correctly.

Probably just looks worse than it actual is. Nice mod though. I don’t scrape nearly as much as I use too. Still can’t believe Toyota hasn’t redesigned this yet.

It appears again after reseting, I ordered mini VCI cable and planning to work on it, will try to replace O2 sensor and reset again. What we saw was abnormal values on left sensor after cat. This is a sensor that the guy from muffler shop touched during the reroute.

This is how my exhaust shop will be doing it today. Bend the OEM heat shield up and extend it a bit then just tighten up the pipe to run in the middle of the cross member. Seems the easiest and simplest way to solve the problem..

have you had any issue so far?

You can see the sliders in the picture... they look welded to the frame.
