Ok, this is just weird, so you had Fox coilovers on your truck already. You swapped them out for different Fox coilovers which wound up not being the correct ones, we think. You just listed the old ones for sale and the new ones are still on the truck? Seems to me you should be swapping the old ones back on and selling the ones currently on the truck since they are not correct.

If you already had Fox coilovers just swap the coils from the old ones and see if it makes a difference.

Yeah the rears are brand new along with the AALs. The Fox 2.0s are correct which it was already installed long ago. I personally don’t have all the tools to swap them myself. @Atl-atl

the old ones are the 2.0s and the new ones are 2.5s the reason for swapping out was due to bumper weight but it’s about 50 pounds all in all. The old version was 0-2 and the new was 0-3.

Oh so you added a bumper to the mix. Starting to sound like you need stiffer springs. Just going from a 2" shock body to a 2.5" shock body isnt going to do anything to compensate for added weight like a bumper, you need stiffer springs for that.

Okay but I still noticed that the 2.0 for what it was still seemed higher. It makes sense but the bumper with the 2.0 lowered it maybe 1/4 an inch. So what rate of springs would you choose?

The problem right now is you dont even know what you have on the truck. If you have a jack and the correct allen key(looks like its 4mm or 5mm) to loosen the adjustment collar on the coilover that is all you need to be able to spin the spring so you can see what coil you have, assuming the coil has the part number on it. Then we can see how far up in rate you need to go, my worry is that shock is valved for the spring on it and putting a stiffer spring on it will make it ride like shit.

Okay so let’s say we have the 2.5s and let’s say it has bad springs. If that’s the case then should I buy springs then have it retuned?

I mean, the shock tuning is probably fine even if you go up 50 or 100lbs in spring rate but dont quote me on that, I dont have much experience with Fox coilovers. First things first; try to find your order, the box the shit came in, the thread from the group buy or something that gives a part number. I find it truly hard to believe in this day and age there is no record of your online purchase. If all that fails, then we can look on the actual parts on your truck to see if they have part numbers on them.

Many coilovers come with like a 600lb spring. I had to swap mine out when I put on the BAMF bumper as it is a heavy bitch stronger than my frame. Switched to 700lb springrate and I have only a slight rake. They are Eibach Coilover springs. You can order specific weight and length for your coilovers.

I’ve looked all over my emails. I kind of remember looking at the Coilovers and they were the right part number. The only thing I don’t remember was the springs.

What @Shaggs said is accurate. You most likely need a different spring. Youll need to know what you have first, then youll want to talk with someone who knows Fox stuff to figure out what length and rate you need. Call up a place like Headstrong Offroad or someone with more intimate knowledge. 4WP is likely not going to be able to help you. I dont know Fox well enough to help with that either unfortunately.

edit: another issue could be that you got the shorter length coilovers that are made for stock control arms, not the extended ones that work only with aftermarket arms.

So I was messing with the truck and noticed that when I pulled up on the bumper it stayed but when I pushed down there was no recovery. Pretty sure there was supposed to be recovery right.
