I typically use an M1 or Fram Ultra...whichever is on sale. Been a PureOne on there a time or two in the past.

Oh come on. Nobody's talking about the "Orange Can of Death" here. I'm talking about the highest rated and most recommend filter on the Bobistheoilguy site....which happens to be the Ultra. Damn good filter. Check out the reviews and videos of them cut open.

 

But it was worth liking....'cause it was right....despite being nearly 5 years old. Somebody revived an old thread for sure.

So everyone has a story about someone's brother's cousin's sister's father's 1988 Mustang that blew up on a Fram filter. I never actually seen one though.

Ran the basic Orange Can for many years on the father in law's '03 Dakota and '04 Sienna, because that's what he wanted. Never an issue.

Now, personally I've never run an Orange Can on any of my vehicles. But the Ultra? Yes. It's in a different universe from all other Frams. Hell....all other filters period. Zero qualms about running one.
