Whats your desires for the 20 gauge? Any other firearms in the house?

Just a few air rifles in the house. My main thing is home defense, and maybe shotting targets up at my friends farm. I know a 20 with buckshot will still put a good hole in someones chest.

That woud likely change… in the event someone decides to see what you have to offer (or forcefully taken)
im researching the rem 870 express right now. Had some questions concerns on the “base” model over the higher priced that I need to still figure out

    maybe I can pm @Easthill Bob ?

Decent enough option for your concerns. I would check the used market too. 12 is the better choice. Personally a fan of the 500, although an 870 isn’t a bad choice either. Both have lots of accessories to suit your needs.

I would worry more about your wife than a choice between 20 and 12 gauge. Both gauges have plenty of options for nearly everyone. Wives always know where to find “ammo”, never forget that!

When facing a home intruder, nothing replaces a loaded gun.

I have Italian greyhounds for dogs... I have no doubt the male would try to protect us, but at 13 lbs he wont do much.

You might be surprised, a good dog is loyal and protective if treated with love and respect.

Did a mock up in sheet metal for a MRSPCARS. I know you guys like the acronyms but it's just a multifunctional rear seat power center and radio station. LMAO I can't support having 2 or 3 radios in the front of the cab. Some of these trucks look like the Space Shuttle, which is cool but I left all that in 2003 when I retired. (yeah, I was a Astronaut and shit) LOL

My lab is 70 lbs of pure muscle and a beast when
upland and waterfowl hunting. She’d bark like crazy at an intruder but if push came to shove I doubt she’d attack. Most dogs won’t, unless they are trained to do so. DD2C031F-F2CE-4BC4-A8D2-E9477F8C86D2.jpg

If you have a Kong in your hand mine will lick you to death... On a serious note please pray, send love, send light, send positive energy to Dexter (top lab) as he is desperately ill right now and there's not much that we can do for him because of this lock down!

The only thing my dogs are good for is an early warning system.

I just called back to the store, my application was "delayed" while I was there, still delayed. They said they should get a reply overnight... so If they get it tonight, ill be back at the store tomorrow afternoon to pick up the 20 gauge. After this all blows over and there is more stock I will probably get a rifle. Really want to get a marlin 1895, I like the small size gun and pretty large caliber rounds.

Sorry to hear that. I could live without a dog but certainly not as well.
