Un common Idle problem...Advice or similar condition seen?

Hey everyone,

I am having an issue with my 2018 Tacoma Off-road. Seen some similar posts and looking to talk to anyone who may have some experience with the issue. This is my third Tacoma and I've driven nothing but a Tacoma since 2003. When I first start it in the morning and back out of my driveway and shift into drive my Tacoma goes into what seems like a limp mode. It's not a rough idle the tach goes from 500-1000 about 10 times then levels off. If you try to drive it lurches and has no power. My dealership is taking care of me and gave me a demo for three weeks and now a rental. Interestingly the 2020 demo they gave me has done it as well a few times. I have a few videos of this and will post when I figure out how.

Yeah realize this looks pretty spammy. Don't really care about my phone number 'out there' ooh someone might call me. Anyway if one of you want to walk me through how to post a video, like I said I tried, have videos on my phone, saved it on my computer, tried to upload, no success. I can be reached by email as well, mgillie@hrce.ca. Otherwise just wondering if anyone knows of other threads I can read. This is not the 'rough idle' many have reported. It is the truck idling at a regular interval from 1000-1500 rpms (I realize I stated earlier 500-1000 , I reviewed my own videos of it and realized my mistake) It does this usually on the first drive of the morning when I stop at the top of my driveway to get the flyers or drop garbage off. Seems to be worse with lower outdoor temperatures. Any advice on whom might have an idea as to what is going on would be appreciated. Toyota Canada's tech was suppose to look at it this week but Toyota Canada has suspended all travel given the current virus situation.(I was told by my dealership)

 

Common. Mine does it too. Was told it's the AC compressor kicking on. for some reason it runs when you have defrosters on too. And randomly

 

I've never uploaded to You Tube before, not my thing, born in the 70's. If it comes to that I guess I can learn how.

Definitely not AC or Defroster. My dealership can't explain it at the moment. They've already replaced fuel pump. Drained and tried new gas. They've had the truck exhibit the anomaly while hooked up to diagnostic computer, however, no codes are thrown, and are still at a loss as to cause.

I'll post some more as well. The truck with 35,000 kms is mine. The one with 3000kms is the demo my dealership leant me, also showing same behavior.
