Yes it is. The option is available on 3RD Gens and using a lot of help from several posts here, I did the MOD, in my Taco.

    https://youtu.be/mm8eQ5ANKyM

I did it two years ago, and since then I relocated the switch to under the AC controls.
I relocated the sliding window switch, because I also did the “Power Gas Door” MOD using a ‘13 Prius OEM switch.

I previously had 265/75R16 Duratracs and now I have 285/75R16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W. I just filled up and if my math is correct then im actually getting about +1.5mpg on the bigger/heavier Falkens than I was getting on the Duratracs!! :woot:

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Did you compensate for your speedo/odo being off? You are going 3.6% further than your odo says. At 60mph, you are going 62.24mph.

Made and installed an upper intake manifold spacer, also cleaned the whole intake tract, swapped leaky valve cover gaskets and installed retarded exhaust cam gears and new radiator core support bushings.

Thanks, it takes longer to find exactly what I’m looking for, but try to keep it looking OEM as much as possible.

Which switches? The ones for the fog lights, light bar, and rock lights are from CH4X4 Industries. The Gas door switch, the mirror defroster, and the mirror adjustment are all Toyota OEM.

Today I painted my engine shroud white! (the dots are from my bad phone camera)

I still need to clearcoat, remove the tape, and add TRD sticker.

The best predictor of rain is a clean truck. I gave up washing mine yesterday after I saw the weather for the next few days :annoyed:

Yes, I used the TUNDRA OEM one because the cable is longer. Exact same motor, housing, etc. TWO different part numbers between the Tacoma and Tundra because Tundra’s cable is longer.

Since I was going to cut the cable, the Tundra gave me extra length to install the motor and cable housing where I wanted.

I could not install it smack in the middle of the back wall, because I have a Sub box on the 60 back seat side. So the motor and cable assembly had to go on to 40 side.

mine was from 25-35 then around 60. Each truck will be different in a way but the lower speed range drove me crazy because that was the speed I would have to cruise at on part of my drive home from my old job and now I barely drive the truck lol
So far after the retubing it’s been smooth as can be once again. Took it on a quick trail run this past weekend too
