(3G) Anyone running Infinity Kappa Coaxials?

We need pics! lol glad you got it hooked up and it’s sounding good! I knew it would as I listened to these and damn near went with them but everybody kept recommending component 2 or 3 piece set so I went that route for fronts instead of full range. I have no regrets but these are really top notch speakers

 

I didn't really get any pictures of the install, sadly, due to the time crunch, but I will try to get some from behind the grills tomorrow. I didn't really consider components due to the hassle of the extra set up. @Man of Steel TRD was already helping me a lot just getting the adapters situated and practically offering me an amp.

I'm not a huge audiophile, but I did want to listen to some better sound and this has definitely given it to me for now. Sound deadning, sub and amp are still in the cards, but the cards have been shuffled down the order. After the camping trip this weekend and a bit of spirited mud driving, I aggravated the bed sides and will be getting some bed stiffeners next.

 

Are you having issues with the fit? Crutchfield says they don’t fit in the 3rd gens. Just making sure before I order these. Also whhat brackets did you use, metra?

 

No fitment issues at all, used the Metra adapters and everything went in fine.

Only issue was with the speaker baffles I bought which having looked at the OE speakers and seeing the dried water droplets on them I'm glad they were recommended. We basically trimmed the whole bottom and back off so that the window didn't hit them when it retracted into the door.
