Not sure about your cv question, I wouldnt think so but I also am not well versed on cv axels. You may try posting in the longtravel bs thread but I think the problem is in your coilovers, I wouldnt be surprised if theyre for +3.5 longtravel set up.

 

If your lowers are for sure stock length, then Im not sure what it could be to be honest. Sorry. Did you buy the coilovers new? Id call the vendor and/or dirtking tomorrow.

The wrong spring is on that coilover. That part # you mentioned that is on your springs are 16" height springs. The normal spring height for a coilover like that would be 14".

 

Yup 16” spring. Smh.

 

Ohhhh dannng!!!! Okay so would be a bale to put my stock springs on for the time being?

 

So basically, whoever assembled those coilovers crammed a 2" longer spring on there, so they are already preloaded too much just having them crammed on, mounted on there with the preload collar all the way backed off.

 

Not unless your stock springs have an inside diameter of 3".

You can't contact Fox on here. You need to contact whoever you purchased them from.

 

That would be @dirtkingfab. That crap thing about this is I would need to do a alignment twice! Unless they can get me a spring here in a few days

 

Email them now and they will get back to you tomorrow. You can even try calling them in the morning to explain what is going on and reference the part # on the spring. It would be good to include pictures of all the part numbers for the coilover and the one on the spring when you email them.

 

What’s up with Fox? There was another thread today about someone getting the wrong spring on their Fox coilovers.
