I liked it more than some of the other smaller chains. Like Red Heat Tavern I wasn't impressed with, but I've always gotten good food at Tavern

Yeah, there's a lot of angry rabble-ing going on in my office today too. We're the only office employees in the company not working from home, even though there's 10 of us in here and the nature of our job is such that it could totally be done remotely. And then on top of that, we got a bunch of work dumped on us from another department, that they were supposed to do this week but didn't, because they're working from home and apparently couldn't be bothered.

I was not impressed at all with red heat. They added soda water to an old fashioned.
we did Red Rock last week and it was really good.

trying to limit human interaction is tough.

Did some things today, finally pulled the trigger on some goodies for the motorcycle today and it'll kick off a couple other projects I've been putting off for the bike. I put a low profile seat on it a while ago to lower the overall seat height. It worked, but makes the seat slope forward more than usual. Not bad, but then I bought a rear rim laced to a front hub so I can run a fat tire on the 18" rim rather than the tall skinny one (saw it in a photo and love the look). This would effectively lower the front end even more, making the seat slope even worse. So, I bought Kouba lowering links and a standard height seat. I'll put the links on, the standard seat and the small front tire. Overall seat profile will be close to what I have now, but completely different look.

Not my bike, but the look I'm after with regards to wheel size only:

I did find someone selling a complete RM250 front end with DR350 bearings in place so it'd bolt right up... Still debating on that one but, for the price, I'd likely just go with new springs, valves and fork oil.

Red Rock is good. But it's also not a chain. I've been to the tavern in the square by my office in Burlington a few times. Its meh IMO. I'd rather just have a five guys burger.

They just opened a yard house right down the street from my office. I've yet to try it though.

Yard house is good. Decent amount of beers on tap and the food is exactly pretty good. I recommend it.

Welp, got furloughed earlier today. Now the waiting period and dealing with unemployment begins.

Nice! Hopefully everything works out once you are done. Hopefully, once all the dust settles from this, I will be looking at getting a dual sport.

Local emergency departments are starting to see an uptick in volume overall as well as an uptick in sick patients with COVID19. Please work hard to follow the guidelines in place (wash hands, social distance, isolate, etc) and stay safe out there everyone!

Honestly, even if it doesn't work out, I don't have a ton of money invested in the process and I'm keeping everything to go back to stock if I need to. The bike is over 20 years old but has been pretty well taken care of, it's just my fun toy at the moment. It's a lot cheaper to tinker with the bike than it is the truck so it keeps my wife happy also.

Exactly why I want a bike. Much cheaper for upgrades/parts and gas.

I concur. work gave us tickets to a nearby sub/ pizza joint that is decent. Asked how many I need for whoever is in household . 3 with my stepson stopping by . So I thought. I can get a large sub , drink ,chips, or a pasta dish . Or a small pizza and a salad. In regards to interacting with public I will call in advance and go in with a mask....
