I fucking would but it’s so damn expensive to even get into that game now. Just don’t have the garage right now for that. It’ll be a few years.

Didn’t miss much. Drove around Jenkinson lake for a little and let the dogs play. Was going to try to take Mormon emigrant trail to 88 but it is still closed

Do any of you guys have experience and/or recommendations on where to get a camper shell in the greater Sac area? This is my first truck and shell so any general advice will be useful. Thanks!

I'm guessing that you have a short bed? The used market for those are pretty scarce, and can be rather expensive once you do find them. Campways on Power Inn typically has a good selection and customer service.

If you're not planning on financing, keep an eye on Craigslist, , and OfferUp.

craigslist mainly for used. Otherwise a dealer in the area for new. Camp ways and ultra truck works are two off the top of my head. I’ve gotten two off craigslist, if you wait long enough the model you’re looking for might show up.

Thanks, all. Campways is the one dealer I was familiar with and have almost stopped by a few times.

I'll continue keeping my eye out on the used market, but it is pretty scarce. What are the options like for swapping out windows? I'm pretty set on wanting windoors. I image this might depend on make/model.

I switched out the the windows on my snugtop rebel to windoors. They are a must have in my opinion. Its fairly easy to do, as long as the options exist from the manufacturer.

this. Have to make sure the model shell has the option for different windows from the factory. Window shapes vary from model to model and aren’t always interchangeable. I’d ‘build one’ on the website to make sure a model has the options you’re looking for. Then look for that model used. There’s a few websites that sell replacement parts/windows

Fyi they did close last week and posted over the weekend asking for folks not to try and make it up. Apparently someone ran over some equipment and a foot bridge over the weekend.

Anyone extending brake lines anytime soon? I'd like to see how you do it before I give it a shot. I've bled lines before, but this looks a little trickier. Got a 6'r on it.
