    I am trying to find a skid plate to fit a 6" lifted tacoma! ( 2019 )

Anyone have one pre fabbed custom that sells them?

Even an extra 6 inches couldn’t help you?

Oh so its one of THOSE kinds of forums.

I used the search box on this forum, and it led me nowhere.

What is the issue? There are plenty of options. Lift doesn’t affect the skid install.

Most of the skid plates I find readily online are for 3" Lifted Tacos, I cant find one that is for a cross member drop,

We sell all the major manufacturers, and we build quite a few Tacomas here, but this 6" Lift was done at another shop They left the customers OEM skid plate off and did not reinstall it, for whatever reason. So now he has a truck without even the factory skid on the front. I found the one pro comp made for 2nd gen, and a few others but nothing on 3rd gen tacoma for 6" kits

I can order him an OEM and slap it on there, but I assumed you gentleman could be able to let me know if one has been made, or if a smaller shop wants some business who is fabbing them up.

I beleive 2nd and 3rd gens share skid plate designs. Atleast very closely. IDK if the DB lift changes from 2nd to 3rd gen though.

Interesting, I will order one up and see if it fits in the spot, I assumed with the motor changes they changed it.

I dont really know anything about DB lifts, so I'd check to see if the lift is 2nd/3rd gen comparable first. I know the standard suspension is compatible.

Maybe I am missing something. But if an OEM skid plate fits why wouldn’t all the aftermarket skids fit?

    Just make one?

Or did I mis-read that when you said you "build" Tacoma's.

We put out more lifted trucks than probably most any shop, we have a full fab shop here as well, but limited availability as the fab shop is scheduled out about 3 weeks currently. Just looking for a solution that completes this for him. I Came here for answers, and professionalism but that is lacking in a large way, but its the internet, I shouldn't be surprised.

Why not go back to that shop, get your skid plate back that they clearly stole. And try it
