@MountainManGuy the SSO slimline with access holes does a pretty great job of this. I love mine! Never had to lift my hood to use it. That being said there’s a ton of great options. 252E5266-4DF7-4A6A-B335-3B67D1BE37D2.jpg

I personally wanted the opposite - a bumper with no cutouts so that it matched the "stock" bumper, and was secure enough to keep someone from free-spooling my winch to steal the rope... :notsure: I'll grab the snatch strap if I need to pull someone out in a hurry...:ohsnap:

Hmm, you have a point there. Stupid thieves! I'll have to give this some thought. Need to order that bumper asap with the lead times these guys have right now. Which one did you put on your truck? Is it the SSO without the access holes?

I'm not saying stealing winch rope is a thang, but you never know. I paid $678 for:
2016+ Tacoma Slimline Hybrid front bumper – CUSTOMIZE YOUR OWN
Model: OEM+ (winch line opening only)
    Bull Bar: No
Lighting: Plain Face or Light Bar cut out ONLY
    Finish: Matte Black Powder Coat
    Backordered: 1
Light Bar Cut Out ONLY Options: Plain Face (No light bar cut out)
    Shipping Insurance: none

A 10" lightbar fits in there between the clutch lever and control box for the X20 as seen in my album over here

Been busy so a bit behind on posting here. First off, I put on some Cali Raised 25deg sliders a month or so back.

Also put in some rock lights more recently. Ended up doing 8x LightForce Rok9 lights. A lot of work (not in mounting, but in wiring, routing the wiring and protecting the wiring) but I think it was worth it. They are super helpful around camp and light up exactly where I need to see for tire placement.

For the middle 2x light on each side, I made a little bracket for the lights that mounted to where the sliders mount. They have been on 3x off road trips and are solid and recessed enough to stay pretty clean.

@RyanDCLB @MountainManGuy i get the concern but I’ve never heard of it happening. Your average joe doesn’t know how to operate a winch and is probably not looking to steal your line if they do. Check out used winch rope prices. They’re not a hot commodity. That being said I can’t knock a guy for being extra safe! You’ll decide what is best and most functional for you. Either way SSO makes rad stuff and has top notch customer service.

The glue is to attach the rubber bumpers at the end of each arm. It is to make sure they don't fall off when your phone is in there or when you pull your phone out.

The rubber thing is extra holding for your phone. They wrap around your phone from the back, around each corner of the phone. It's not really necessary but it's good to make sure your phone doesn't fly off.

Well that makes sense. The bumpers were already attached on mine, so it must be in there as a backup in case they come loose. I think I'll use the webbing as a free coaster, I'll have to see how this does on the trail but it feels pretty solid so far.

Ya, let alone a whole 'nother vehicle. I'm amazed that ARB bumper doesn't keep the door from shutting too o_O

Couple folk in another thread are pretty convinced if you put it into S it's just like a manual.

I miss driving stick some days, but I don't know if I'd be willing to give up two whole cup holders for it.
