Yeah my boss was going to push for me to be included but then her boss pushed it all through without including my boss in the decision making. None the less it is what it is and I'm grateful to have a job. Might help convince me to stay if I can turn this work from home deal into something permanent. I really enjoy not going to the office and was already working from home 1/4 of the week before all this covid crap started.

They deemed windmill construction as essential, government infrastructure would be my guess.

Have had a few promising leads in the last couple days for jobs. All of them showing interest, however all of them having a hiring hold or freeze at the moment until mid April. Appreciate anybody’s thoughts and prayers, they’ve been answered. Unemployment seems like a good bet, especially in the last 24 hours. Took two full days but was able to finally get the application filled online. If anybody needs help with it, let me know I can answer some (not all) questions.

Keep you head up bro. This will all turn around soon, and none of it's your fault. Work on the things you can, and let the rest of it settle where it may.

Keep at it man. Hopefully those leads pay off. Sucks about all the lay offs and hiring freezes going on right now.

Guess I've been upgraded to essential, email came from work telling me to be there Monday morning. Sucks because they laid off like, 20% of our division last week too.

Just checking in, hope everyone is doing well. Sorry to hear about some of the lay-offs folks are experiencing. I do know there was mention of a meet, but I'm urging everyone to take this seriously and stay home. I'm currently in our COVID ICU and we have people dying that dont need to be, and they die alone cause no family is allowed inside. The reality is that we as a community are the only ones capable of slowing this down. We dont have treatments for it, we WILL run out of ventilators and our hospital system will resort to prioritizing care to those most likely to survive and the others will die.

Take this time to strength relationships at home, plan future trips, eat better, exercise more and put all those trucks parts on that have been sitting in the garage but please above all STAY HOME.

I look forward to our next meet up when this is all over

Plague shuts down everything for 6 months
    Shut down reduces global temp
    Lower temp in September
