Ditto. I bought a first-year Ducati 848.. the next year they retuned, refined, and added more to the model. I was pissed. They tend to give the razzle dazzle after the first year model of anything when the complaints/feedback flood in.

Im debating myself. Might be getting a second dog and the cab space could help.

I did, traded 2005 dcsb taco for my '17 tundra. About to buy a regular cab 96 taco though as a hunting/daily truck and to play around in. Loved my taco, love my tundra, gonna love the new taco as well haha

Went from an 2005 Tacoma to a Tundra crewmax and now am considering going back to a Tacoma. My 05 was a great truck I loved that thing. I also really enjoy my Tundra. But things have changed in my life I moved from the high country to Phoenix and the Tundra, to be honest just feels big everywhere I go because everything is so compact in the city. I’m alone in it 98% of the time because if we go anywhere as a family we take my wife’s suv. I also don’t tow anything. So I continually finding myself more and more interested in a Tacoma. I know the fuel mileage isn’t that much better in the Tacoma, but it’s enough to make a difference. I average 13-14 mpg in the Tundra.

Utlimately, drive what suits you best. If you feel a Tacoma fits your lifestyle best, go for it. Good part is that you will still get good resale on your tundra!

I'm been on a search for a used Tundra 16',17' Limited. Kids are growing and like the extra space. I'm really surprised how many dealers aren't negiotiating from their listed price. My take is they want to low ball on your trade in and/or sell their financing to maximize their profits. My next step is probably list my 2011 DCSB 4x4 to see what i can get for it.

I traded my 2017 Tacoma for a 2019 Tundra crewmax and I’m also considering going back to a Tacoma at some point as well. I don’t live in a big city, but the size of the Tundra is still very obvious. It’s not that I can’t drive it in tight quarters or park it in tight spaces, it just gets old after awhile. It’s a great truck and I enjoy it when we go out of town, but daily driving it can be a chore. I think I enjoyed the Tacoma more.

As for gas mileage, I knew it would suck before I got the it. I’m averaging about 14 right now. Towing our side by side it gets around 10-11 mpg at 55-60 mph.

I’m also alone most of the time driving it. No kids, so it’s usually just me and the wife and sometimes our dog. She loves the Tundra, because it’s spacious and comfortable, but she rarely drives. So, that’s mostly a passenger perspective. I’m usually the chauffeur when we’re together lol.

Ive only had the truck for 5 months, so I’m trying to give it a chance. Great thing about it, if I decide to trade, it holds its value very well.

My take is they know they will sell used Tundras so they wont budge much on price. As I'm sure you're finding, not a ton of tundras on used lots. Demand is just as strong as with Tacomas. Just the supply of tundras is lower than tacomas.

No issue finding Tundras for 4-5k off MSRP here in the PNW.

For anyone looking for a used Tacoma and is in the Kansas area, I may have a 2019 with 21K to sell. TRD Sport 4 door long bed, original sticker price $43K+. Except for some damn chips in the windshield which have been filled, it's practically a new truck.

Theres 3 inferno ones out there that fit the bill but with the current state of the US, and the fact that I’m sick, I cant fly out to get them. No others have popped up near me that arent rusted to shit and 95% are crew cabs, which I dont want.

May just drive the ol’ Scout this summer and look for one in the fall at this point.

Bummer, theres an inferno pro near me right now, 70k miles asking $30k. Kinda high miles for some, but price seemed nice. Good luck though, I think its worth it.

Test drove a pro in NH a couple weeks ago. Pretty truck but the exhaust was absolutely obnoxious and a deal-breaker. Will be towing quite a bit, cant listen to that crap. Waiting on an unmolested TRD-Off Road to pop up.

Not much with limited trim in Richmond but there are several a few hours away(near DC, Va Beach, NC). Now they are tryjng to contact me, before corona they weren't budging. First have to sell my Tacoma just a few nibbles on Craigslist and FB.

Ha! I started with a 2014 CM when it was just me and the dog. Traded it in on a 2016 DC and not long after I started dating a girl with 2 kids and a cat. We are now married and added a kid but that DC still has enough room in the back for all of us. Except the dog. Screw the cat.

I just looked at a 2017 in Rochester NH and the welds and shocks were all going already. Buying a southern vehicle again so I can CRC and seal it before the shit hits it. I live 10 miles from the ocean so that doesnt help matters either.

Damn that’s crazy for a 2017 I thought it was bad in Ohio with all the salt on the roads. Let alone the salt in the air from the ocean.
