I'd want a Triumph or a later model Duck

I'm a cafe racer type, but if the right liter bike came my way I'd be all for it

The F4i had great throttle response and plenty of torque to get me around.

I'm a little guy and the bike wasn't all that heavy anyway; I did shave the foam so I can flat foot it while at a stop though.

Did the same with the Kawi but the difference in that thing had was the gearing and throttle. It goes from I'm smiling to holy fuck this is scary in 0-shit seconds. I didn't ride it much and just drove the Honda for the most part. That and I wasn't as confident on the Kawi cause you could really feel the weight difference.

Those ohlins tho were nice and tight around the twisties on Highway 1

The owner literally said yesterday "I don't care if its just me and one other person running this store" while looking at me.

See my quote above. Mine was leaking from where the thermostat housing meets the water pump and was leaking to almost the exact same spot. I ordered a new thermostat housing and that fixed it all up.

An old friend got me into them since he and I rode together.

Not only did he have a speed triple, which was fun and balanced like a real bike should be, he was restoring an old Norton.

Since then, I would borrow my friends' Scambler. Monster, any naked bike I could ride.

This was all while in the marine corps so a good number of us had motorcycles.

Good to know thanks. Shop looked at it today and told me they couldn't find it leaking and believe it was leftover coolant mess from the water pump job. Said they did a pressure test on the radiator and that was fine. I'm skeptical but gonna keep an eye on it
