The highlighted areas are closed (you can drive around the signs I chose not to)

[Exit 38]The highlighted area on this map is not closed and I went up the mountain quite a ways before my fiancee told me to turn back. No snow and not much traffic. Saw a Subaru and a 4runner. (I didn't get a chance to explore this whole area but there wasn't a closed sign at the beginning of the trail so i suspect it is wide open all the way up)

Also Exit 38, this looked like a great place for kids to play by the river (or to do some fly fishing).

The roads barricaded just up past the power lines. You can get around, but it gets unmaintained and pinstripey pretty quick.

    The trail off exit 38?

Is there anywhere sort of in the area you can get off the grid a bit? Doesn't have to be technical and I don't mind pinstripes.

I sure hope everyone realizes how wrong it is to have to worry about if we're allowed to go out in the woods...

You should have heard my boss when I told him about roads that the FS closed. Something about cocksucker's and public land.

Any repercussions for passing the barricades? I assume that is a ticketable offense.

I'm not sure, but I wasn't about to wait and find out that day I got stuck on the plow berm. Jared got there pretty quick from his house.

me and a friend got warning tickets from a ranger for driving into one of the camp sites. Everyone does it but we got popped for it. One camp site had a very well used trail that went back close to the river. We parked there and after a while here comes the guy walking up to us. He asked us if we saw the boulders blocking access to the site. I said well, obviously the way we came in wasn't blocked by boulders.

Tons of people pull into those camp spots and spend the night. He said technically you have to park on the side of the road.

Eh, just don't get out of the truck...

    "
Trailheads, campgrounds, and day-use areas within the forest

    Date(s): Mar 27, 2020

To align with state and local stay home to save lives measures, trailheads, campgrounds, and day use areas* within the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest will be temporarily closed. These closures are based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus."

    "
*Day use areas include trailheads, visitor centers, OHV staging areas, viewpoints, boat launches, interpretive sites, and picnic areas."

It doesn't say the road system Is closed, just the day use areas.
