LSK posted up a few pics on their Instagram a few days ago.

 

Will hopefully be picking the truck up on Saturday. Decided to have them continue the skid plate from the bottom of the front bumper all the way under to the trans and also regear and add 35’s

 

Still have a few more things to do. But overall really happy with how it’s turning out.

 

So I got the truck back and have a few weeks on it. There was an issue with the ABS and trac light on, but that was due to the wires used to extend the abs was 14 gauge wire and it was to big. Anyway that and now that the new gears broken in and locker installed everything is awesome. My buddy steve at SS built that installed the kit and LSK knocked it out with this kit. The battery was relocated the bed. The kit is awesome, it is bumped and strapped at 17 inches of travel in the front. Haven’t got to use the full travel yet still need to figure out what to do with the rear end.

Any power adder?

 

To the engine? Running an OVT 87 tune, AFE y pipe and UDR exhaust. That’s it.

 

The battery is bolted to the bed in the box. Ran under the cab and connected to the main connections and then wrapped in glue heat shrink. They are also connected to the terminals on the fender bracing so I can connect accessories like my front light bar. On a side note going to find a more stable solution then a million zip ties but they work. haha

 

Awesome setup. Is a bricked top spring at ride height normal?

 

I was told yes, but I am going to have Accutune re-valve and put new springs on to match the valving. This set up is just temporary.

 

I've seen that same set up on some sort of quad, I can't remember the brand or model but as long as the other spring doesn't bind as well it doesn't look like it would hurt anything.

 

took her out to barstow a few days ago to best of the new LSK kit and man can she take a beating. The rear end really needs some work now haha. Have a few videos on my Instagram of this small jump. Dev_r_

 

That front end travel is epic!

 

yes that spring set up is normal. on a a-arm set up this is standard, you are only using that spring while at full droop to keep the lower spring from rattling around.
your transition if running a traditional dual rate set up would be so high, it would beat you to death when it crossed over.

springs predicate ride height and valving shims control the ride.

truck came out great.
