They are out there but they are hard to find as they are somewhat out of fashion. I love them.

What kind of roll bars are you interested in? Something big like Marty Mcflys Toyota? Or something smaller that doesn’t take up bed space and looks and acts more like a headache rack? Or are you looking to go racing and get a bed and cab cage with attached light bar?

I went the old school Marty Mcfly(ish) route

I found mine on a local trading website from a guy that pulled it off a 1996 Tacoma (1st Gen) for $40. Kind of a tight fit but it works great, you just have to drill holes in your composite bed.

While you are probably aware, I will say it anyway; These roll bars are only light bars and will not hold up in the event of a crash and even if they did they would punch through our plastic beds and be useless in a rollover.

Im glad you pointed that out. About it punching through the composite bed. We have a few buggies out in ocotillo wells and one of my "hefty" buddies jumped in the back of a manx buggy and damn near tore the roll bar off. The goof we bought it from had bolted it to the fiberglass. Good thing we hadn't crashed, that would have been really bad.

This is all so helpful! The detentions really are the same? I keep asking the company’s and such but all the say is they won’t fit

Gray 2015 is your bed bar still in surplus?

So they dont make one that would actually hold up in a rollover, do they? These all look really cool but more of a light bar item? The reason I ask is because for a roll bar to help in the event of rollover, it would have to be welded directly to the frame, I think. The entire bed is composite so I would have to cut some pretty sizable holes through to mount bar to frame? Not so easy for most so they dont make anything like that? So the only option for rollover safety is what? Cage, exo? Way out of my abilities and/or budget.

I tried to find it, it doesn't seem available anymore. It's made by N-Fab and I got it from CARID a couple years ago.
