Just like the title says, I painted my stereo, climate control panel, and center console. Installed my AXXESS XIA-I01 Auxillary and iPod Input as well. Here is a few pictures. Enjoy!

I keep my iPod Touch tucked away in the compartment to the right side of the steering wheel. Displays text on stock head unit and compatible with stereo and steering wheel buttons. I have a Galaxy S phone with 32 GB of storage, thus I use the AUX port for connection to my phone for multimedia and phone calls. I think a bluetooth module will be the next interior upgrade.

Thanks! Contrast is the exact reason I did it. This was really a test to see if I want to have it professionally done, thus not having to worry about keeping it looking good. The rattle can job will do for now, but eventually I will strip, paint, and bake at my buddies paint and body shop. He's just now getting set up and pretty behind or I would have went pro from the beginning.

The 3 greet buttons will be for axillary lighting. Two large lights behind (future) Satoshi Grill, Bed lighting (for load/unload/camping not looks), and the third is undecided. Premature I know, but they came out of my old truck, and I already had the truck apart so it seemed like a good time to install wires, relays, and fuses. Any other suggestions for my third switch?

Yes the AXXESS XIA-I01 is compatible with most/if not all imports, and you just have to buy the corresponding cable. I suggest going through caraudiogiants or sonicelectronix. The unit has three inputs. One is dedicated to an auxillary AXXESS branded LCD display, and the other two can be an iPod, Aux, or XM/Sirius. I have mine set up for the ipod and aux, and if I ever wanted XM I would have to sacrifice one of my existing inputs or buy another inline module, similar to what I plan to do with my bluetooth. Hope that helped.

Not that I could find, but I will work on one. I took a few pics along the way, and I will write something up on the stereo when I have a few extra minutes. Midterms right now are consuming my life, but I will get back to you.

Thanks thanks for including the steps. I'm quite good with mechanical applications, not so much with the painting and interior stuff. Looks great, I plan on doing something similiar this weekend
