I kinda want to buy a nice gun with my stimulus check. Does anybody have any experience with the FN ps90? Seems like a cool gun at a decent price. Also, where are some good places to buy used?

 

It's a neat gun, especially if you SBR it. Wife uses it at the matches occasionally, when it's all close in movement stuff. Typically great FN quality. Mildly pricey ammo (40-50c a round if you just shoot American Eagle for target and save the good stuff for HD), and the manual of arms is weird for ammo swap (takes me about twice as long as I could swap an AR mag). We're both shorter, smaller shooters, though, so the ergos might work differently for you. Get the rail/tri rail version and put a good dot (we run the eotech) on it.

 

I just want to chime in and say this IS the best use of this money I have seen.

 

I'm only 5'8 and to be totally honest I just like it due to it being one of my favorites from COD. I just cant afford the SCAR

It's the wife's gun, she likes it due to Gunslinger Girl heh.

She also likes Walther, she's got a PPQ M1, a PPS M1, and a P22. And her Henry 22.

 

I'll probably just end up going and browsing. Seems kinda fun anyway lol

 

I've used the P90 which should be pretty similar. I didn't like the ergonomics, it was weird ...especially the safety and the ammo is rather boutique.

I don't like the scar either (even with the happy switch) if you're attracted to it from cod as well. It's pretty clunky.

 

Looks cool though. I just wanted something different from an AR15. But those are also pretty sweet

 

The scar not only feels clunky it shoots clunky. After shooting them FA it can't be unfelt. The AR is popular for many reasons including ergonomics, customization, variation etc. Hard to go wrong.

 

Anybody dealt with NW Armory in the last couple of days? I have an online order placed, however I cannot get them on the phone or to respond to emails...

 

Even from FN? I heard lots of good things about it

I've heard good things about F1 stuff too. But I honestly dont shoot much at all. I mtb/snowboard/SAR a lot. I'd like to shoot more though, I only have a 9mm right now.

 

Many companies I'd take over f1 for an AR15 but that's my jam not yours. Every gun owner needs an ar15.
