In your info it says “stock” but is it lifted? If it is, can you share what lift you went with. Tire size? Thanks.

 

Thanks! I feel like you don’t see a lot of black trucks with silver rims and white letter tires. It’s the exact look I wanted. It’s lifted 2.75 inches in the front and 1 inch in the back. The wheels are 285 75 16, and the rims have a -12 offset. Nothing too crazy, but just enough to give it a stronger stance.

 

Haven’t even looked into that idea yet. It looks really clean, almost gives it somewhat of a 2nd gen look.

 

For sure. I bought the truck and immediately debadged it and swapped the grill. The black sticker between the windows spoke to me. It said, “please just end this before it starts”

 

Welcome to TW! Nice ride!!. I had a somewhat similar transition years ago when I went from a 328 Coupe to a Subaru Baja after I retired and we moved to where we live on a dirt road. I eventually ended up with a 2004 Taoma OR but am loving my 2020 Pro. I hope you come to love your new truck!!

Just out doin truck stuff before self quarantining. Need to take care of parents for a bit and have been working. Didnt want to get them sick as they have health issues so staying put so I can go see/help them in 2 weeks. Couple of house projects and DIY popnlock (parts due tomorrow) to keep me occupied. Staying home is gonna be hard to do but a must. Everyone be safe.

I know very little about the numerous roof racks out there so I have a couple questions if you'll indulge me.

I would rather rely on members input who have actually installed roof racks rather than a manufacturerers advertising.

What was the motivating factor in choosing the rack you purchased?

Is the hardware that is supplied stainless steel.

And does the rubber strip on the windscreen actually make contact with the trucks roof.

I'm asking, not dissing to be more informed because I'd like to put a roof rack on my Tacoma.
