Do trucks go faster or slower at that altitude? Less power but less drag as well.

 

When I had my Trans Am, doing 160mph wasn't too scary. Going almost 90mph in the Taco wasn't a great feeling.

 

Shit, I hit 85 in my truck and I’m like “dial it back, Mario Andretti.”

 

It only takes 25-50hp to cruise at 60mph in most vehicles. Thinner air has less drag, holds less water (often have 8-20% humidity in the Winter). Yes, we loose about 25-30% of bhp without a blower or a turbo, so we get passed by turbo Subies all the time. Also explains much of the popularity of modern F-150s, Eco-Boost turbos have full power.

 

Slower. Aerodynamic drag is a square function. Altitude can’t keep up (until the air runs out).

some of them are no joke. Like pay attention or die. I had a legit panic attack late one evening driving back to Walden from Fort Collins. Left late and snow was already falling. By the time i made the pass, there was 12” on the road, and i was in a dodge shadow with semi bald tires.

A Restaurant Is Being Accused Of Reselling Costco Frozen Pizza For A 700% Mark-Up !

A South Carolina restaurant has been accused by customers of reselling frozen pizza from Costco and passing it off as homemade, according to a report in The Post and Courier.

According to the paper, Chip Grimalda, chef and owner of wine bar and restaurant Coquin in Charleston, was seen going from the store to an apartment nearby, then going out on a delivery run "with corrugated cardboard boxes that read, 'Fresh Pizza, Oven Baked.'" A reporter then found four-packs of Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizza with Breadcrumb Crusts, which are sold at Costco (not shown in the photo above) in the trash cans near the apartments.

 

With balanced tires and stiff suspension 110 feels fine

I can cruise at 110 with poorly balanced 285s no sways and wore out original shocks just fine... not comfortable or confidence inspiring but it can happen

 

At least it's not Papa Johns.....
