Today I spent a good part of the afternoon vacuuming, steam cleaning, and cleaning up metal tracks and plastic shields to put together my Charcoal gold..

The elusive Tacoma Sport bucket seats for my regular cab 5 lug Trudy!!

Take a gander at these mythical beauties.. with enough effort scouring the web, driving for probably 16 hours total getting two sets, and mixing and matching the best parts from both, it seems dreams really do come true!

    20200327_165820.jpg

Tomorrow I will be getting these into my truck once and for all! :woot:

Well, I was going to offer the first set of SRunner seats I have for you since we chatted about them while back.. but dont think I can store these for that long!!

These are so hard to find, I would say if you want them you buy them whenever you can... I drove over 800 miles for my second set since I needed parts for my first ones!

So after swapping my lower BJs I’m kinda dealing with a dilemma , when i torqued my castle nut I did my research and according to YouTube videos and forum pages the bj castle nut is torqued to 105 ft, so today I’m going through my service Manual that was hidden away in my garage and it states 80ft , anyone confirm This? 04 5 lug

does it say 80 and 53? Are the first numbers part references? If so I stand corrected.

@fortiz619 was stating torque values in "ft" aka ft-lbf on the diagram.
The values you are stating are N-m.

Assuming you have the correct parts diagram (I did not verify this), this should clear it up for both of you:

Looks like the bJ castle nut is torqued to 80 ftlb and the two bolts that attach to the spindle are torqued to 116ftlb, , tie Rod is correct at 53ftlb , I’m gonna have to loosen it up and retorque my bj castle nut since i torqued it to 105ftlb

Soooooo much this. I have a bunch of coworkers that have them and they all think that KO2's are the best tire out there. They obviously only care about looks and don't put much thought into performance. Bothers the fuck out of me.

Polished my exhaust pipe, That's not a euphemism! This phosphoric acid takes rust off of stainless steel with very little effort and won't strip the chromium in the steel like other acids. After I get the whole exhaust + muffler done, I'll clear coat it with VHT - though I have been warned it smells bad. @GQ7227

Do you know what year the 4WD components came from? Meaning what year of truck was the donor parts from?

I'm gonna need more details, to be much help here. Front end wheel bearings go bad occasionally but they make lots of noise leading up to it and you can usually feel it. They're replace only, no repair to be done to the bearing unless it's a 5 lug.

If you have not put cvs in you want to do that before your wheels fall off, if your bearings are bad... replace them
